Sometimes you meet wonderful people.
My Love is about going for 4 months in Afghanistan and I feel there are people around me there to support me. It’s a good feeling to know that you’re not alone in a situation like that cause you need to entertain yourself a lot to ease the pain.
The first time he went there I joined a military wives forum. There I could talk to women who were living the same thing than me. I also joined a group on Facebook made for the belgian military wives. Now that he leaves in less than 3 weeks, I’m back to my ancient account !
About a week ago, I met a girl who’s from the same town than me and who’s boyfriend is in Kaboul for the moment. We have talked a lot and yesterday I spent the evening and the night at her flat. In fact, she’s studying at the same university than me. I’m glad to know her, she’s super courageous ! She’s living alone in the appartment where they use to live while he is away. I know that one day I’ll have to do that too and I know it’s a little bit difficult than living with your family who’s there to support you.
I’m feeling sad … I’m gonna miss him so much !!
